The 70's and early eighties were a very fortunate period for me. On arrival back from Japan I started to co-write with Peter Yellowstone of " Red Bus Int' Ltd" based in London. We used to meet once a week in Finchley. It wasnt long before the songs came along over many weeks of work......along with the late Steve Voice who unfortunately died in the USA.

"Run to Me" was the first biggy for Kelly Marie. Joe Dolan was taken to 43 in the UK top 75 and number one in Ireland with the track "I Need You" in 1977,The song was an international hit like " Make love to Me". Kelly Marie......41 weeks in the Australian  TOP 40.

We had the help of many arrangers and producers like the late Gerry Shury.   My friend Tony Swain ,who after much success along with Steve Jolley, in the "Muppet Show series  as sound engineer/vision camera operators.........became very famous shaping the recording success of many singers.......with their own Material. "Body Talk" by "Imagination "is a prime example. They co-wrote a song with me called "Love out of Reach" for Willie Ellison. Tony Swain believed in me as a singer.......and has helped me since with an arrangement on my latest solo recording of "My Survival".......first played on BBC Radio Guernsey.....by Colin LeRay.

The writing team of Tinsley/Yellowstone...........and Tinsley/Yellowstone/Voice came up with songs such as " Midnight Lover"...."My Love"......."I need You" ......"Disco Crazy"  "Im Crazy"........."Would you leave me in the Dark"........"Make love to Me"......"Cant get Enough"... " Baby its Magic" ......."If I cant have You"......"Dont ever change your Mind".

During the period 1996-2000 " Its Good News  Week" recorded by "Hedgehoppers  Anonymous," was used in the very highly viewed, Australian weekly TV series " Good News Week".....the show is still running to this day.....Mike is still waiting for his performance royalties!!! as a recording artiste!

"Its Good News Week" recorded by "Hedgehoppers Anonymous" was also used in the ITV series of "Dead Man Weds" ( comedy series run) about the antics of people working in a newspaper office.One of the stars was the very popular comedian Johnny Vegas. "I Need You" recorded by the great late Joe Dolan was featured in a caravan scene

of the film "Twin Towns"..........which has found its way all over the world on cable TV and cinema screens. I have the feeling that many songs recorded by Joe Dolan and Kelly Marie.......will be covered in the near future. There is a wealth of youtube videos already on the network........uploaded by talented people....which enhance many songs that I have been involved as a co-writer..........Its a never ending story, which has had many turning points and now I'm on a new run!!   One of my biggest dreams is that one day somebody ......a Megastar like Celine Dion, will record my new song called "MySurvival",

Well what is life if you don't have dreams!!!..........just space!
